This project is a vinyl redesign of the musical duo, Surfaces, album titled, "Where The Light Is." The music by this American music group is a “feel good” sound with blends of jazz, soul, pop, hip hop, reggae, and calypso.
The concept for the vinyl redesign, is to focus on the meaning of the album title, Where The Light Is. The redesign incorporates elements of light to create a new perspective of an ocean sunset. The album jacket adds mystery and depth to the design with a cut out of the sun shown through from the vinyl itself.
In this project, I also created promotional advertisements for this vinyl redesign. The advertisements include a subway banner ad, digital bus ad, and mobile banner ad.
